Drinking water source requirement

Drinking water is directly impact to human healthy, water truck that used to carry drinking water should filled with clean source water only.

Water tank truck shall be disinfected and filled with water from an acceptable source only.

A acceptable source shall be a municipal water supply that holds a valid approval from Health department, or a public drinking water supply that is registered at health department and is monitored and tested in accordance with the requirements of the Water and Waste water Facility Regulations.

If municipal water supply or public drinking water supply is not chlorinated, sufficient chlorine should be added to ensure that a minimum of 0.4 milligrams per liter free chlorine residual is present in potable water contained in the water tank.
